I have posted a very rough draft of my sermon for Sunday in a blog. In it I advocate forsaking grasping at greatness in order to embrace God.
These scriptures always make me smile and feel happy. Wisdom in the busiest place in town -"beside the gate", "at the entrance". Lady Wisdom calls out to everyone - you, me, all of us.
And, Wisdom is God's delight.
I find it strange that I remember nothing of these scriptures from years past. Did they come to the forefront with feminist theology,?
Does everyone read them the same way?
can we have a discussion?
With a past in one faith and a present in another, I have found common ground.
I do not say my Jewish friends, family, et al that they have "missed the boat" or are destined to one version of hell or another.
So I have ten minutes before I have to go to school, but I'll try and break down some life testimony to you before I head out the door. So... where to start.
Please take a small moment to enjoy this absolutely stunning video.

Hi All,
Here's the scene.
Two folk from divergent faith traditions engage in the interpretation of the same specific scripture.
Both come up with similar interpretations of the text in question.
Here are the questions.
1) Can God and does God allow the meaning of God's word to be interetted faithfully and accurately by those who do not adhere to a specific faith practice?
