Has it not become clear to everyone that we are not fighting for democracy or freedom?

 I have been rerading the other threads regarding Israel and the resolution being debated at General Council.

Today I discovered it is from the song Heaven's Here on Earth from the New Beginnings album and I also found this.  Personally I think it expresses beautifully my beliefs.

Hi everyone!

I said I'm evangelical christian. It's truth. Also, for me relationship is more important than doctrines. It's why I came here because sometimes I found evangelical church to intolerant.

I thing everyone have the light of Christ within his life including people don't have my beleive. It's the reason why respect it's very important.

In a couple weeks I'll be heading to Israel and Palestine to study peace issues.  As I get nearer and nearer to my departure date, I keep thinking over the issues of war and peace.

As a man thinks so shall he be.  If we truly come from God and the creative universe then we too are creators like God.  However, if what we envision can be manifested simply through intention and will, then why can we not create peace? Personally, I think that desire and will alone are not adequate to create a thing in our lives.  A state of readiness must also accompany it.  The lightbulb could not have been invented in the 12th century because the ability to harness electricity, blow glass into a bulb shape, understand the excitability of electrons in their valen
