PNEUMATOLOGY--A NEW SCIENCE FOR THIS NEW CENTURY
Pneumatology. It is not a science yet, but it is the mother of psychology--the study of the psyche (the Greek for animal-like mind)--which, for centuries was considered a branch of philosophy. This was true in 1947 when I decided to focus on, or major in, psychology. Dr. Clayton Baxter--the professor who took me under his wing ( became a respected friend), was a PhD from the Unversity of Toronto--was head if the Department of Philosophy.
I love the rythym of the Church Seasons - Advent;Christmas, Ephipany, Lent, 50 days of Easter, leading to Pentecost - the birth of the church.
At your church do you celebrate the day of Pentecost with Red, wind and fire?
Do lay people lead the service because many times this is Annual meeting weekend?
What are your favorite things about Pentecost?
Here is a definition I found:
George Gurgieff: "A man will renounce any PLEASURE, but he will NOT give up his SUFFERING" --our many tears and broken hearts .

I have spent near a decade investigating the thing called story ... the mnemonic of the mind, a thing we cannot stand unless presented in the veil'd form of a lie ... that's us as a sum ... "eM" (root mean square) in ancient terms ... no gender included, we are differing expressions of the same beast.
Collectively Christendom is hypocritical, pathetic, and plastered with idolatry! It is the sad reality of the church. However, there still are genuine God fearing, Jesus loving, Holy Spirit driven Christians out there who care more about the Lord Jesus than themselves, wherefore they won’t let the despicable condition of the church prevent or impede them from loving and giving glory to Christ Jesus.
I know what the Spirit is but is the Emerging Spirit a specific new program or something?
thanks
