“Don’t worry. It always works out in performance.” Nope. Even as a child I knew that wasn’t true when a well-meaning adult would pat me on the head and offer up those comforting words. What I have learned through the passage of time is how to deal with situations that come up that are unexpected. It can be distilled into 2 rules. 1) Always be prepared. Know your music inside out so when Murphy’s Law pulls you over, you can deal with it.

I hereby Chansenize with a rumination that involves a poem you all know but should, I think

You've all probably heard the meme going around, of an "Arab Spring", in mention of all the rioting/freedom fighting/youth gnarling going on in the ME right now.
Well, I'd like to use this particular thread to use as a placeholder where we all can talk, riff, muse, put in news stories, rants, reasoned diatribes, silly, solemn, etc, that we think of aboot the concept of a Canadian Spring.
I'll start:
As i read a post, where SomeGal mentioned a youth sleepover, it reminded me of funny stories from youth group sleepovers.
I figure a few of you have them too, so, hoping you will share some humour for all those youth workers out there.
In looking around the net I can across this funny story from the AP. I thought we could start a thread to share humour church related stories.
