We need change.

So, the other day I was watching TV, and on a talk show, one of the audience members was explaining the relationship he was in. Apparently, he had a straight girlfriend, AND a bisexual boyfriend. This immeadiately struck me as quite weird, and I said "Isn't love supposed to be developed in an intimate relationship between two people?" And my friend gave me her death look and said, "you're one to judge, mr. gay!" How you could compare the two, i dunno. I still don't understand this triangular relationship, and I have heard of multiple cases since then.

I am realtively new here, and do not want to post if this topic already exists somewhere else.  I tired to find it but could not.  I could see allusions to it all over the place, but not specifically on the topic I have in mind.  I also had no idea what forum to actually put it under.  I chose Religion and Faith, cause it seems closest to philosophy and science, which is probably where this should go.

What are my feelings towards Colin? I say I love him, and I believe I do, I just have a different way of loving people.  If I get to know anyone, I will probably love them in different ways.   With Colin there is rarely a rush, I keep my thoughts straight, it's a constant, steady, growing love.  I think that because of that we'd get along fine living together- but I kinda would with lots of people when I love like this.

This forum topic is about my brother. He's seventeen, and in gr. 12. Yep, it's his last year of highschool. He's finished the International Baccalaureate program, for those of you who know what that is, and he's been accepted into his first choice of universities. We're all happy for him.

This has been a question that pops into my head sometimes.  If I hate myself or am indifferent toward myself, am I at liberty to hate or be indifferent to my neighbor if I am following Jesus rule of love thy neighbor as thyself?  Just wondering.

Why is trust such a huge issue. As we know, I am in a long distance relationship with someone and he lives in North Carolina. I have spent time with him twice and will admit that I do really love him. He got me through a lot of tough stuff and I can't ever thank him enough for that. He is my hero no matter what happens between us. I don't usually base my life around a man. I like having one, I like relationships and most of the things that go with it, but i also don't like the drama and the nonsense that can come along with it either.

I don't really know how to start here so I guess I'll just get straight to the point...y a

This is the gratest commandment according to Matthew - You shall love the Lord Your God with all you heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind. You shall love your neighbour as yourself

I have been thinking about this and I wonder if the crux in this is loving your self in all that you do and how you live. If you don't like yourself, how can you love God. And if you don't like yourself, how can you be a good neighbour?
